A witch’s work is never done, and in bestselling author H. P. Mallory’s mesmerizing new novel, Jolie Wilkins finds that the real magic is only just beginning. For smart and sexy witch Jolie Wilkins, being Queen of the Underworld is a royal pain. Back from a round of time travel, Jolie must now protect her realm from the sinister Lurkers—a powerful breed of half-humans bent on conquering the undead. And if there’s one thing she knows, it’s that the supernatural never go down without a fight. At least Jolie has her soul mate (and finally official boyfriend), warlock Rand Balfour, by her side. Honorable, brave, and unbelievably handsome, Rand is everything Jolie wants in a man. So why can’t she forget the dangerously alluring vampire, Sinjin Sinclair? Book Synopsis Witchy Life & Witchy Things by : Susie Smith

Witchy Life & Witchy Things: Spells and Knowledge From an Eclectic Witch is non-fiction and written for Witches and those interested in Witchcraft. The book provides information on different types of Witches and the religions they follow. The types are briefly broken down and explained. You can learn about each one to discover what type of Witch you are, or use the information to choose the path that's right for you. There is a list of tools all Witches use. The list is then broken down and explained in detail. This way you can decide what you need and what you can do without. I give some insight into a Witch's life in general. I discuss the positive and negative things about being a Witch, and dispel some myths about us. The book has some nice information on crystals and herbs with their properties & uses, and runes with their meanings & divination uses. These are found toward the back and formatted so you can use it as a reference book. No more needing 3 separate books for this information. Of course it also contains spells. I have included spells and potions from my own Grimoire, along with recipes on how to make magic inks and infused oils. No mater what magical path you choose I think you'll find something useful inside.

Waking the Witch

Book Synopsis Waking the Witch by : Pam Grossman

From the podcast host of The Witch Wave and practicing witch Pam Grossman—who Vulture has dubbed the “Terry Gross of witches”—comes an exploration of the world’s fascination with witches, why they have intrigued us for centuries and why they’re more relevant now than ever. When you think of a witch, what do you picture? Pointy black hat, maybe a broomstick. But witches in various guises have been with us for millennia. In Waking the Witch, Pam Grossman explores the impact of the world’s most magical icon. From the idea of the femme fatale in league with the devil to the bewitching pop culture archetypes in Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Harry Potter; from the spooky ladies in fairy tales to the rise of contemporary witchcraft, witches reflect the power and potential of women. Part cultural analysis, part memoir, Waking the Witch traces the author’s own journey on the path to witchcraft, and how this has helped her find self-empowerment and purpose. It celebrates witches past, present, and future, and reveals the critical role they have played—and will continue to play—in the world as we know it. “Deftly illuminating the past while beckoning us towards the future, Waking the Witch has all the makings of a feminist classic. Wise, relatable, and real, Pam Grossman is the witch we need for our times” (Ami McKay, author of The Witches of New York).

Book Synopsis Hex Me Not (Small Town Witchy Cozy Mystery) by : Lucy May

Welcome to Charm Cove, Maine – where the Good are Wicked, and the Wicked are Good… or maybe not. Moira Wicked is back home for good, no pun intended. She’s settling in to help run Persnickety Potions & Gifts, her family’s store. Even though she’s loath to admit it, she’s a bit relieved to be home. Here in Charm Cove, there’s nothing unusual about the last name Wicked and it’s more uncommon to encounter someone who isn’t a witch, rather than the other way around. Just when Moira thinks life might be quieting down, there’s a spate of burglaries around town. It’s no accident that the homes and businesses being targeted belong to witches. Once again, the oh-so-charming Charm Cove is all atwitter. Amidst the undercover investigation, tourists are still crowding the streets, seeking the, ahem, magic and charm of the little town. Moira is smack in the middle of sleuthing out what happened, seeing as Persnickety Potions & Gifts was one of the burglar’s targets. As if she didn’t already have enough going on trying to hold her nosy family at bay. There’s still that pesky destinyshe’s supposed to fulfill—specifically by marrying Liam Good. She might be on the way to falling in love with Liam, but she’s not so sure about marriage yet. A Wicked is fated to fall in love with a Good once every century. No pressure or anything. Take a visit to Charm Cove, where Wicked meets Good and where you just might find there’s almost always more than meets the eye.
